Synopsis:  Jack and Annie travel in the Magic Treehouse on a Merlin Mission to Victorian England to help writer, Charles Dickens.  They will need their magic and help from three ghosts to help Charles Dickens write A Christmas Carol.

Classroom Rationale:  Use this as a read aloud series to compare and contrast themes, settings, and plots of stories by Mary Pope Osborne about the characters, Jack and Annie.
